Dark Matter eLiquid

Enjoy the wonderful flavor of our latest VapeSafe eLiquid - Dark Matter.

Dark Matter tastes like German chocolate cake. For those of you who have not had the fortunate to try a piece German chocolate cake recently, this is a great way to experience the flavor without getting any of the calories. German chocolate cake is a layered cake filled and topped with a coconut-pecan frosting. Traditionally sweet baking chocolate is used for the chocolate flavor in the actual cake. The robust filling and topping is a caramel made with egg yolks and evaporated milk. Once the caramel is cooked, coconut and pecans are stirred into the mixture. Finally, rich chocolate frosting is spread around the sides of the cake to hold in the filling.

Dark Matter eLiquid by VapeSafe captures the essence of German chocolate cake. Dark Matter eLiquid delivers plumes of vapor and rich chocolatey flavor that you'll want to enjoy again and again. Try Dark Matter today!

If you're thinking about quitting smoking--even if it's not the first time you've tried --Commit Lozenge delivers strong, lasting medicine to help stop cravings before they start. Commit 4 mg Lozenge doubles your chance of quitting, even if you've tried before.*

And if you're worried about weight gain, you should know the Commit 4mg Lozenge can actually help reduce weight gain while you quit.** The Therapeutic Nicotine in Commit helps reduce your nicotine cravings and relieves some nicotine withdrawal symptoms to help you quit.

Nicotine is a stronger addiction than most people realize--and cigarettes are a very efficient nicotine delivery system. Each puff sends nicotine to the brain within 10 seconds, activating areas of the brain that produce feelings of pleasure and reward by raising dopamine levels. Dopamine is the same substance involved in addiction like cocaine and heroin. So we have another puff. And another.

Soon the brain's chemical structure actually changes. It becomes hooked into wanting more and more nicotine to make the effects last. When the brain stops getting the nicotine it's used to, we begin to feel withdrawal cravings--actually the brain craving nicotine.

As this nicotine addiction sets in, the brain links everyday habits with smoking, boosting the role of cigarettes. Normal everyday activities begin to trigger the urge to smoke. Drinking coffee in the morning. Talking on the phone. Work breaks. Driving.

So when you try to quit smoking, you're actually fighting a battle on two fronts: 1) physical--that is, nicotine addiction--and 2) habitual, the activities, moods and events linked with smoking.

Beating both nicotine withdrawal cravings and your smoking habits is the key to changing your behavior and starting a new life as a nonsmoker. Commit can help you do both.

Let's start with cravings. Once you stop smoking, that's when your brain really starts screaming for nicotine. Your withdrawal cravings can actually intensify in the days after you quit. That's where Therapeutic Nicotine--like that in Commit--is proven effective. Absorbed through your mouth, the nicotine in Commit reduces your nicotine cravings and relieves some nicotine withdrawal symptoms, without the harmful tar or carbon monoxide found in cigarette smoke.

Commit Lozenges help stop cravings before they start, increasing your chances of success by allowing you to focus your willpower on changing your behavior.

That's where Committed Quitters comes in. Committed Quitters is an online resource that can give you an individualized stop-smoking plan to help change the behaviors that reinforce your habit. Enrolling is easy, and access is free for users of Commit Lozenge. You'll get a multiweek plan tailored to your specific needs, including tips to help you along the way, while Commit's strong medicine helps relieve withdrawal cravings. Commit plus Committed Quitters significantly increases your chance of quitting, even if you've tried before.

Even if you've tried to quit before, Commit Lozenge doubles your chance of quitting successfully.* You use Commit on a regular schedule throughout the day to help prevent cravings.

Start with the right strength. Commit is the first and only stop-smoking aid that offers you different strengths based on how soon you smoke your first cigarette in the morning--a method leading experts believe is a better measure of nicotine dependence.

Get an individualized stop-smoking plan from Committed Quitters. Your plan can help you overcome your unique barriers to quitting smoking--and increase your chances of success. For example, if you're used to having a cigarette with your morning coffee, you'll get specific advice on overcoming that habit and desire. Look for information in your package of Commit Lozenges, or visit CommittedQuitters.com.

Follow the Commit 12-week plan. Commit helps your body gradually adjust to less nicotine. Over a 12-week period, you will use fewer and fewer lozenges, as shown in the chart. But remember, it's designed for a 12-week course of therapy. And for the first six weeks, use at least nine Commit Lozenges a day.

Worried about weight gain? It's a real concern for many smokers. But it's small compared to the risks of smoking. And when you use the Commit 4 mg Lozenge, it can actually help reduce weight gain while you quit.**

Want more ways to take off those extra pounds? Develop new, healthy habits like eating right and exercising. Have low-calorie, healthy foods handy, chew slowly when you eat, and drink lots of water while you're quitting.

Remember that nicotine lozenges are medicine and you've got to use them a certain way to get results.

  • Do not use more than one lozenge at a time or continuously use one lozenge after another. Doing so may cause hiccups, heartburn, nausea or other side effects.
  • Do not use more than five lozenges in six hours, or more than 20 lozenges total per day.

Commit Lozenge comes in two tasty flavors, mint and cherry. Both are available in a convenient Pop Pac for discreet use whenever, wherever.

*The Commit 4mg Lozenge doubles your chance success vs. placebo.
**A study has shown that smokers who quit using the Commit 4mg Lozenge gained less weight compared to those quitting on placebo.

Summary: "COMMIT & WILL POWER EQUALS QUITTING FOREVER"

There is no magic bullet but this worked for me. No product, therapy, hypnosis will work unless you truly desire to quit. After a 30 year addiction I didn't say that it was easy. Look-up will power in the dictionary and I guarantee you will not find my picture next to it. I loved my Marlboro's. The smooth flavor that I craved the second that I woke up. Ten cigarettes with my morning cup of coffee. They were my best friend. Leaving the house, make sure you have enough. Marlboro uses a super nicotine to make their product even more addictive. Enough is enough. I'm spending $300.00 a month plus on this filthy habit. Tried internet pricing to save money. You get junk cigarettes from Russia, shipment seized at the port with a nasty letter from Customs and the State wants to whack you for hundreds of dollars in owed taxes. Definitely not worth it. Weed is cheaper not that I recommend it. The first 3 days was pure torture. I'm using Commit every 2 hours. It gave me that jolt of nicotine that my body was craving so I didn't need a cigarette. By the 4th day the desire was much less. I'm thinking that I can really do this. Fast forward. Thirteen months later I am totally smoke free with no desire for a cigarette. I feel healthy and that dreaded morning cough is gone. Don't be weak. The price of Commit is less than what a carton of cigarettes would cost. You can do it. Put an end to cigarettes once and for all. Highly recommended.

Summary: "If you're ready these will definitely help"

I think the most important thing is that you be READY to quit and that you WANT to quit, as some other reviewers have pointed out. I also think these probably work better if you only take them when you feel the urge to smoke, instead of the 9 or more a day it recommends. After the first lozenge I didn't think I'd be able to use these, I hated them, and the directions say not to swallow, so I ended up with a mouthful of foamy saliva which was obviously disgusting. My second lozenge was better (I stopped trying so hard NOT to swallow) but I still didn't finish the whole thing. After that I got used to them. I think less and less about smoking every day, and I'm not a raging lunatic (or 10 lbs heavier) like I thought I'd be.
I've been taking them for a little over 2 weeks and I only take between 3-5 a day (I smoked a pack a day, sometimes more) and that's plenty. I do suck on mints or jolly ranchers sometimes throughout the day instead of a lozenge, just to keep from taking too many. Some people (here and on other sites) have complained that they are now addicted to the lozenges. You still need to have will power to quit, these aren't a magic solution, nor should they become a new habit. I have a feeling that if you take as many as the instructions tell you, you're more likely to get hooked on these. However you DO need to follow the instructions not to bite, chew or swallow them, of course you're going to get an upset stomach if you do that. That said, even using them correctly does cause gas, which is another good reason to wean off them as soon as possible! Good luck!

Summary: "Best product of its type, period. But beware...it's addicting, too."

Commit Lozenges are very addictive. As long as you understand that and deal with it maturely, they can really get the job done of quitting smoking. I am celebrating my one-year anniversary of sucking on my last lozenge by writing this review. Yes, it can be done! However, it took me three YEARS to quit the lozenges.

The lozenges are much, much, much more effective than the gum or patches. There is really no comparison. In the first week or two, the lozenges kill about 80 % of the urge to smoke, and then after a few weeks, 100 %. It gets to a point where you'd much prefer the lozenge to a cigarette, because the lozenges have most or possibly all of the satisfaction of smoking a cigarette, with none of the outward side-effects such as smell, social stigma, etc. In fact, once you have a big pile of lozenges laying around, there is no real reason or desire to smoke cigarettes. They provide a nice, even, satisfying nicotine feed that is far superior to the extreme ups and downs of smoking a cig and then not getting to smoke another one for a while.

And therein lies the challenge, because the lozenges are so satisfying to the nicotine craving that they are very addicting. They are as addicting as cigarettes, in the same sense that you want one as soon as you finish the last one. I found myself taking a break from lozenges by having an occasional cigarette. That's how twisted it gets - you end up smoking to try to break the habit of taking the lozenges. Think of the lozenges as extremely expensive cigarettes that will just give you mouth cancer instead of lung cancer.

At some point, of course, you just have to make the decision to get it over with once and for all, and STOP. It will be hard. It's probably easier to do it with the lozenges than cigarettes, but it's not a cakewalk. You have to want it. Really want it. Standing in your way is the fact that it is a lot easier to pop another lozenge than to change your life. But the upside of lozenges is, I think, that while it takes months for your brain to adjust to life without cigarettes, I think the brain can kick the lozenge habit in 3-4 days, with another 4-8 weeks of general nicotine longing that is not quite as intense but is still uncomfortable and challenging. Be prepared for a a couple of uncomfortable, challenging months. It is insanely difficult to not have anything in your mouth, after however many years you were used to having cigarettes and then the lozenges. I highly recommend Altoid mints to transition from the lozenges to, eventually, nothing. Altoids are so strong they almost burn your mouth, thus masking the weird longing for nicotine that you feel in your mouth for a few months. Nothing else has that strength to fully mask the nicotine craving.
